Witness Insecurity Thoughts

Finished TVB drama, Witness Insecurity 4 nights ago with a 2 hour finale.

Warning: Spoilers ahead.

Name:Witness Insecurity 護花危情
Broadcast: uhh like a few weeks ago to now. July 2012.
Starring: Linda Chung, Bosco Wong, Cilla Kung, Ronald Law, etc.
Episodes:19-20(depend on the program u watch it on)

The first few episodes were the best. Linda Chung was under witness protection program and often faced the antagonists attacks. Bosco's role is a police in the witness protection unit (WPU) and they are responsible for linda's safety.

The first few episodes included so many actions(: and then develops into this bosco and Linda relationship. Kind of. But then the bad guys are caught and bosco and his team doesn't need to protect her anymore.

Bosco gets a promotion to another unit because of his good work along with some of his WPU's team.
The middle episodes then became kind of a drag cuz Linda and bosco barely had any interactions. And it just kinda dragged on. Until the last few episodes.

The drama ended with bosco getting run over by a car. He hit the ground hard. But he woke up a few seconds later. And using all his last energy he drove his motorcycle(wearin the blue helmet Linda gave him) and drove over to Linda.

Just before reach her he spits out blood an flys of his motorcycle. Linda runs over and holds him. Bosco's last words went pretty much like "sorry I came late. I'll always protect you in the stars"
And the background music were playing "their" song.

It was SOOO freaking sad.
I watched it with my family so I didn't wanna cry in front of them. But inside my tears were already exploding.

When I got into my room, the emotions slowly faded but then I listened to the drama's theme song sang by Linda. And I broke out in tears. SOOOO freaking sad. Can't believe they didn't end up together. Urgh.

This reminds me of Bottled Passion when Raymond Wong dies. Ahh~ so sad.

Last post at my house until i come back. I'll probably be posting something at the airport though. Gonna be pretty darn bored waiting for plane anyways.

Ohh and the plane departs at 2:10am and we arrive in taiwan at (their time) 5:00ish am.

And don't even think about robbing my house if you know where i live. Cuz my dad's staying here.

So excited!! But at the same time kinda nervous. Haven't seen them for 2 years and now i'm gonna have to live with like 10-20 family members for the next 3 weeks. So many ppl...

And asian relatives...well..they're like..idk how to explain. They're really straightforward and they don't really care about ur self esteem. no, let me put it this way, they dont even know what it is. I guess.

ugh..its really hard to explain. Straightforward all the way.

umm i dont no what to say now.

Ohhh. forgot to mention. Bosco Wong is gonna be in Taiwan for a month (august) to shoot a drama. i no the chance is SUPERRRRRRRR small, but I hope i get to see him!(:

Taiwan tomorrow! The plane is actually like wednesday at 1:00ish in the morning, something like that. Ahh so excited! Soo ready for some real sun and getting tan and yummy food and DRAMAS xD

I'm such a slacker. I didn't start packing until this afternoon and I'm still not done packing -.-

And we're leaving tomorrow..whatever.

You know what Taiwan also means though? Less chance to be blogging. It's kinda weird for me to blog in front of my cousins that are like 29..30ish something. (i live with them.) it's like no more privacy. Luckily, i got my ipod :)

I'm gonna still have to go on Tumblr using a computer though. Even though there's a tumblr app, it sucks. Once you load like 5 pages, it doesn't show you most of the stuff on ur dashboard.

The problem? Tumblr is where i blog a bunch of hot guys and asian food. AWKWARD...

whatever YOLO hehe...

Another thing I'm really happy about is that I got my "thing" a few days ago. if you know what i mean. didn't end yet. but that means when im in taiwan it'll be over in like 2 or 3 days maximum. and don't have to worry about it coming. YAYY. Andd the fact that my relatives from my dad's side already has a trip planned--where we're gonna go somewhere and go to a hotel where there's a pool. That's gonna happen like 2 days after i reach taiwan. So I reallyyy hope my thing ends before then.

Also, my relatives from mom's side also planned for this water theme park. DUDE IM DOOMED. IM GONNA DIE. I CANT FREAKING SWIM OKAY. I think some of my readers already no about that. But i'm sure some doesn't.. WATER THEME PARK URHHH.

Okay and the point i'm bringing up these trips? I'm gonna have to bring my swimsuit, and that means a bikini. And since my relatives, especially the ones from dad's side is so like protective and traditional, they're gonna be saying or thinking "whoa...u wear a bikini now..."

I just hope they don't say something that embarrases me. Or lowers my self esteem. so much worries. And i've thinking about this bikini issue for more than a week now.

Finally made up my mind today though.

It's my body. so YOLO. My life. My decision.

Still...im worrying >.<

Sweet Dream

Had a weird but sweet dream ever last night..wait no, this morning.

So this is what happened, from what I remember:

Something something happened. and then I was on a bus in Taiwan with my mom and bro. Then we got off. My mom called my dad and told him to pick me up. And then she and my bro left.

And then..later. I don't know where i am or how it happened. But i remeber VERYY clearly that I kissed someone. on the lips. I'm 97% sure it was Kevin Cheng.
The kiss felt soooo freaking real. And i was smiling.

And then we were up in this tree house thing with a bunch of ppl from our school. But Kevin was there too. And everyone knew each other. And we sat in a square, with nothing in the middle. It was pretty big for a tree house. There was 2 doors, one on the left, other on right.

And then from the right side, from the door, we could see that there were attackers coming. They all wore blue. So people from our treehouse got down and fought with them. So then this girl beside me (she was my friend. but i cant remember who it is)said that we should probably escape from the left side. So me, kevin, my friend, and my friend's bf walked to the left side. But then we saw that there was a attacker coming. And i think i yelled. So then ppl from our treehouse got down and fought. Including Kevin. I stayed in the treehouse. Later, the attackers were gone. People came back. And i stood nervously waiting for kevin. Almost everyone came up already, so i was starting to worry. Then Naze D. (wt the heck...) came and like comforted me? or something? after a second, I saw Kevin Cheng came up. Kevin told Naze

"you better not be messing with my girl" something along those lines.
And naze was like "i wasn't. you'd beat me up."

WTFF..
okay, then. I guess I had tears in my eye. So Kevin tried to wipe them away. But i leaned in and hugged him tight and then I cried? not sure. but he patted me and stuff. it was sooo sweet(:

Next scene. Kevin and I were in this hallway. He put his backpack into this locker (it was blue, like the ringdall ones). there was a lock on the locker but he didnt lock it cuz it wasn't his. Then we went into this classroom. And we sat down. And there was this drawer thing that had a lock on it but wasn't locked. So Kevin and I pulled it open. And saw some stuff in there. Later I went into the hallway again. i dont remember why. Then, i went back in the classroom, and I pulled the drawer open again. But the stuff wasn't there. I told Kevin to come and take a look. He then went out into the hallway. I followed.

And we found out that his pack in the locker was gone too. Many people followed after us and checked their stuff. Several packs were missing.

Kevin was about to try to solve the case when I woke up -.-

URGHHH. i wanted to continue dreaming.

The way I put it into words sounds like an okay dream. But it was really sweet when I experienced the dream. Especially the hugging part. And the kissing part. It was just OMG. Ahh okay. At least I remembered what happened. Kind of.

Anyways.

So since I have a Blogger. I've added a lot of blogs about Cantonese dramas and songs, and Canto celeb news to my reading list. Kinda like a subscription.
I'm just gonna call it a subscription.

So i was reading it just now, and I came across this article. And i was like OMFGGGG.

This is what it says:

"Raymond Lam Caught on a Date

with his 'crush' 18 year old Karena Ng"

That's a VERRYY misleading title.

Absolutely no prove that Raymond Lam's crush is Karena Ng.
It was PROBABLY NOT a date. But a celebration.

A few weeks ago I mentioned that Raymond Lam has a crush on someone. Apparently the reporters found out who it is. And they're seen "dating". (It was actually just a party to celebrate the staffs and actors of the drama cuz they're done filming.)

Her name is Karena Ng. I'll admit. She's not bad looking. Butt...SHES FREAKING 18. 18.

Love is blind. And age doesn't matter. But...idk..i was surprised at Raymond's taste.

Don't know if the news is true. You know what i mean, you can never trust those reporters and articles. They'll turn a hangout to a "THEY'RE MARRIED".

Rumored girlfriend?

Anyways. So 18. and she's new to the industry. Uhh...am i the only one that doesn't approve of this?

If Raymond really has a "crush" on her, that he's got some bad taste. She's pretty. But. dude. there's prettier girls out there. that's closer to ur age. Someone like Linda Chung.

Okay, let's not even talk about Linda. Cuz she has a boyfriend.

But...reallyyyy.. :// I don't know what to say. Disappointed is the word.

*sigh*...well if the news is true. Then I hope she's not a bitch. An 18 year old girl new to the industry. Just WOWW...

If the news is true..and if the girl is not a bitch, then I hope they'll get together. And be happy. No marrying until at least 6.5 years later. Dating is fine.

Whatever. Whatever makes Raymond Lam happy.

After all, who am I to judge?

Fri.&Sat.

Friday:

Went to YMCA with mom, bro, Taylor, and family friend (E.Z:6th grade and her mom).
First we played like 40ish minutes of ping pong. Then we went upstairs to the place with all the equipment. Ran on the treadmill a bit. Then me, bro, and E.Z tried on some of the not as common equipment. That took about 10-20 minutes? Then we rested, watched like 15 of a movie, and ate popcorn. Then we changed and went into the pool. It was like not deep at all. Highest water level was 4"7. Stayed in the pool for like probably more than a hour. It was fun in the pool though :D

And then we went and showered, except for my bro. Which stayed and swam. The whole shower process must've took like a hour. No kidding. Anyways so then we went into the lobby. And looked in the window that showed the pool. And found out that my bro was still swimming. After a hour. When we thought he was already showering. =.=

Anyways, then we saw Sophie N. and her whole family swimming. That was a huge surprise actually.
And then we went to QFC for like 10-15 min. to buy some stuff. When we got home it was around 11:00.

Saturday:

TZU CHI stuff with my mom and taylor. So boring. Dont no what TZU CHI is? too bad. 2 lazy and 2 complicated to explain. It was SHIT until like 1:00pm when Emily (from saturday) came. Then we played on the iPad and stuff. It was fun! Especially cheating on the logos quiz ^.^
and then mom, me, taylor, emily, and her mom went to costco. Bought some stuff. Then ate at the food court.

Got home around 6:00.

WHat an eventful Friday and Saturday.

Going to exercise and swim *coughcoughplayinthewatercough* with family friends 2morrow and YMCA. That's good. I need to burn off some fat. Especially cuz in 2 weeks I'm gonna eat tonsss of food.

The Viral Factor

I think I'm gonna use this "what happened today" format for summer posts.

What Happened today:

Woke up earlier than usual due to thunderstorm
Went downstairs
Billboard top 50 songs with bro on youtube. I discovered a new song: Whistle by Flo Rida :D
Cooked rice using rice cooker
Watched 10ish minutes of Men In Black with bro
Bro went to Safeway to buy chicken for lunch
I started watching The Viral Factor(Chinese action movie)
Lunch&continued with The Viral Factor (2 hours and something minutes total)
Watched a part of Black&White (TW drama)
Upstairs: computer stuff
Dinner&Witness Insecurity (HK drama)
Badminton

The Viral Factor was a pretty good movie. Lotssss and I mean LOTSS of action. But there's a storyline though. 2 hours and something minutes was longer than I had expected but it was definitely a good movie.

A version of one of the theatrical release posters.

Release date: January 17, 19, 20(depending on country) 2012.

Languages spoken in the movie: Mandarin, Cantonese, English, and Malaysian

Starring: Jay Chou (Taiwan), Nicholas Tse (Hong Kong), Lin Peng (China), etc.

Budget: HK $200 million (WOW...)

Filming places: 80%-Malaysia. other-Hong Kong, Xi'an, Singapore, Middle East, Vietnam, Jordan

Hugee amount of money spent on this film. With all the guns, explosions, cars, helicopters, ship, etc.

Anddd on top of that, paying two VERY WELL-KNOWN actors. Jay Chou and Nicholas Tse (famous in China, HK, TW for his films).

I'd reallyyyyy recommend you watch it if you have time. here's a little warning: ending isn't exactly the "happily ever after" from Disney and there's like 1 hour and 50 minutes of action out of the 2 hours and something minutes.

In the movie, Jay Chou has a goatee. hehe...

And Nicholas Tse. I knew him before, but this is the first time that I actually watched a movie with him in it. His impression on me in this film: HOT(:

If you actually Google him, ehhh just another asian celebrity with kinda weird face shape (no offense) but after I saw the movie, damn my whole perspective changed. Like I actually consider him as semi-hot now. But he's married, divorced, and has 2 kids. His personality doesn't attract me due to the rumors about him and just....idk. But yeah. Definitely won't go crazy for him like JJ Lin, Kevin Cheng etc.

He has so much Swag in the movie though(:

the ending:

I wanted to cry. *sniff* it wasn't thattt sad, but i was hoping for a "happily ever after" ending where everything's perfect.

I would've teared up. If my brother wasn't watching the movie with me -.-

CALL TO ACTION: WATCH IT. WITH ENGLISH SUBS. unless u understand Mandarin and Cantonese fluently, or u probably wont get it. And it has Malaysian o.O

Rate: 8.0/10 [i'm not gonna be like sunlaoshi and give 8.4251341343.]

If there was a bitt less action it would've gone easily up to a 8.8 though.

Tears

What I did today:

im on number 12 now.

My arm is sore from badminton >.<

So I was watching Startling By each Step (#5) and i cried so much. So that episode was about 45 min. and I must've cried for 30 min. Soo freaking sad, especially since Kevin Cheng was in it and he was crying like crazy in this episode.

okay, i really have to talk about what happened. its just 2 sad to hold it in and not write it down or tell it 2 someone.

Kevin was forced to divorce his wife by his brother (emperor), or else his brother would kill everyone in Kevin's palace, including the servants and his wife's family, and all that, which is equal to a few hundred people.
He told the emperor that he'd never divorce his wife.
But then his wife found out and begged Kevin to divorce her for the sake of the lives of the innocent.

Looking at the divorce paper his wife wrote for him.
(little tears at first)

So he did.

Stamping it after his wife begs him to divorce her.
(tears came pouring down. do u see that
big tear on his cheek?!?)

After he stamps the paper.
(more tears)

And then she(kevin's wife) set her room on fire and then hanged herself.

Saw his wife hanging there in the room and
seeing the fire creep up to her.
(Yelling like crazy)

Kevin yelled and cried like crazy. Sooo freaking sad.

More tears...

Kneeling down, and not be able to do anything
and just watch his wife die inside.

Other stuff happened before that caused his brother to force Kevin to divorce his wife, and it's a long story. So I'm not gonna bore my readers.

It took me FOREVER to get the screen shots of Kevin Cheng in the drama. Happened so fast. especially the fire scenes. So I couldn't get a scene of the wife, and the screaming scene was..ehh not that good. Much more dramatic in the clip.

Ahh...my poor Kevin. Everytime I see those scenes i wanna cry.

He also looks older than usual in the drama. That's the first time I've said he looks old. Probably because he had to shave his head.

No laughing at Kevin's crying face. Okay? Thanks.

That's basically my schedule for the whole summer. Boring, I know. Haven't bothered to start Of Mice And Men yet. *sigh..* stupid summer hw.

Ohh, today's 7.11 Didn't get my slurpee. Oh well..going back to taiwan soon. more goodies coming my way next month xD Watch me gain 7lbs -.-

OMG so I was looking at the post I posted exactly a year ago (7.11) and i found out that I'm watching the same drama I was watching exactly a year ago. I never finished that drama hehe.

Anyways, so now I'm watching it again with my bro during lunch everyday.

And at night I'm watching a still broadcasting canto drama with dad and bro. My 2 on-going dramas.

Ahh I still need to finish this Kevin Cheng one. So many dramas geez.

My Wild Imagination #2

Last time I wrote a little fanfiction about a road trip with JJ, and so this time I decided to write one about Raymond Lam.
Before we begin though...

Raymond Lam is a Cantonese actor and singer. While reading this story, pretend he's 28, and pretend I'm 24, and he comes to Seattle for a visit.

Run

Went on a very short run with bro today. So freaking hot. I want some ice cream like the ones above.
And that bubble tea. Is that even bubble tea?? It seems like a chocolate milkshake with black pearls and ice cream. IDK...but it looks good :D

Summer's actually been pretty boring so far. I can't wait to go to taiwan!!! urghhh..Pleaseee come August. Pleasee.

I'm pretty sure JJ did more though. So proud of JJ. He can sing, produce music, and sing. <3

You know how I'm obsessed with my Hong Kong stars and TVB dramas? Well, I found out today that there's a rumor going around saying that "Raymond Lam has a crush on someone." When the first people interviewed him about it, he said "I have now encountered a good [potential] partner, someone I'm interested in, but it's not a good time yet, have to observe more."

Later, many more reporters called, so then he said "I'm so busy and have so much to do. Even if I have one, it is almost like I don't and we won't be able to date, so no target has appeared yet."

WTF does this mean?!? Does he like someone or not!!!. Aiiyah. Well...he is getting old. Hope he finds someone good and worthy. Better be a girl that I approve of (like Linda Chung).

Independence Day

4th of July. Independence day. Happy birthday America.

I wanna say thank you to our Founding Fathers and to the people that fought for our country. Thank you.

Haha, I thought this was kinda funny.

I was gonna write a whole big paragraph about the Revolutionary War and everything, but no one would actually read that.

I'm glad it's sunny today. I've had enough of the rain and clouds.

I want some of these ice cream sandwiches :D

I've heard soo many fireworks since last night. I can't see any outside my window though. Probably have to get up and go to the living room's big windows to actually see it. I'm too lazy though teehee xD

Umm....I haven't seen fireworks for a whole year now. I miss them. They're sooo pretty. When I grow up I'm gonna go see the fireworks every year with my husband and kids. And before that, I'll go see it with my friends or boyfriend. Or we could have parties and set fireworks ourselves <3
I remember a few years back, our family was camping during the 4th of July. That was fun.

Day 30: A random drama& thoughts about this challenge

Day 30: A random drama (good or bad)& thoughts about this challenge

Final day of the 30 day drama challenge!

Hmm...I've already introduced a lotta dramas. I'll talk about a Taiwanese drama for the last day of this challenge <3 (cuz i've watched 2 many cantonese ones, and there isnt any special ones left for me to mention)

Smiling Pasta

Starring: Nicholas Teo, Cyndi Wang, Gino, Zhao Hong Qiao etc.

Episodes: 17

Plot: dont feel like summarizing it.

I'm pretty sure I haven't talked about this drama before. If i did..ehh oh well.

The 2 main male characters are hott(:

Umm..oh the soundtrack, it's pretty nice. Especially cuz the main male and female character are singers, so the soundtrack sounds really nice.

This drama also had 2 pairs of cute on screen couples. The pairing is so cute!(:

Umm...I really don't know what else to say.

I rate it 7.5/10, it was pretty good. I would recommend it during the summer. During school days? Ehh..

Okay, now for thoughts about this challenge:

Doing this 30 day drama challenge was pretty fun. It forced me to pick out a few favs (that was hard) and also helped me recognize actors and actresses' ability to act rather than their looks.

Doing this also made me think a lot. Like I have to think deeply and try to remember all the good dramas I've watched so far in my life. And that's A LOT.

Okay, i dont feel like typing anymore, so I'm gonna stop here.

I'll miss this drama challenge <3

Hmmm i should start another challenge...maybe.

For Cantonese dramas:

Raymond Lam & Linda Chung

Don't know when this is...but probably around
2006-2008. Cuz that's when this pair was popular.

Pair name: Rayda

Dramas they're in: Moonlight Resonance, Heart of Greed, I think that's it..

I've never actually seen any of the dramas I mentioned >.< hehe. So i don't know about their acting and chemistry "on-screen". But they're sooo cute together! You can tell by looking at their photos. I guess that's "on-screen" right??

Day 28: Favorite actor playing the antagonist in a drama?

I like how some of TVB dramas' antagonist are actually quite attractive.

Ben Wong

He's a reallyy good actor but they like to put him in supporting roles. He's got so much talent though.
At first, he's just the bad guy, but as I watch more and more TVB dramas, i realize he's almost ALWAYS the bad guy if he's in a drama. ALMOST always.

He also won best supporting role (male) in TVB 2011's anniversary awards(:
Hope Jason Chan can get nominated and win this year.

And he looks pretty young too, not at all like his age.
Guess how old he is...he's 46. Pretty attractive for 46. He could be my dad though...-.-
