Day 30: A random drama (good or bad)& thoughts about this challenge
Final day of the 30 day drama challenge!
Hmm...I've already introduced a lotta dramas. I'll talk about a Taiwanese drama for the last day of this challenge <3 (cuz i've watched 2 many cantonese ones, and there isnt any special ones left for me to mention)
- Smiling Pasta
Starring: Nicholas Teo, Cyndi Wang, Gino, Zhao Hong Qiao etc.
Episodes: 17
Plot: dont feel like summarizing it.
I'm pretty sure I haven't talked about this drama before. If i did..ehh oh well.
The 2 main male characters are hott(:
Umm..oh the soundtrack, it's pretty nice. Especially cuz the main male and female character are singers, so the soundtrack sounds really nice.
This drama also had 2 pairs of cute on screen couples. The pairing is so cute!(:
Umm...I really don't know what else to say.
I rate it 7.5/10, it was pretty good. I would recommend it during the summer. During school days? Ehh..
Okay, now for thoughts about this challenge:
Doing this 30 day drama challenge was pretty fun. It forced me to pick out a few favs (that was hard) and also helped me recognize actors and actresses' ability to act rather than their looks.
Doing this also made me think a lot. Like I have to think deeply and try to remember all the good dramas I've watched so far in my life. And that's A LOT.
Okay, i dont feel like typing anymore, so I'm gonna stop here.
I'll miss this drama challenge <3

I've never actually seen any of the dramas I mentioned >.< hehe. So i don't know about their acting and chemistry "on-screen". But they're sooo cute together! You can tell by looking at their photos. I guess that's "on-screen" right??

Day 28: Favorite actor playing the antagonist in a drama?
I like how some of TVB dramas' antagonist are actually quite attractive.
- Ben Wong
He's a reallyy good actor but they like to put him in supporting roles. He's got so much talent though.
At first, he's just the bad guy, but as I watch more and more TVB dramas, i realize he's almost ALWAYS the bad guy if he's in a drama. ALMOST always.
He also won best supporting role (male) in TVB 2011's anniversary awards(:
Hope Jason Chan can get nominated and win this year.
And he looks pretty young too, not at all like his age.
Guess how old he is...he's 46. Pretty attractive for 46. He could be my dad though...-.-

Day 27: Name an underrated Drama?
An underrated drama...all the dramas I watched has a pretty average rating I think.Not sure if this drama is underrated, but I don't hear much people talking about it, so I'll talk about it.
Starring: Nicholas Teo, Amber Kuo, etc.
Type: Taiwanese drama
The picture looks like it took place in the past, but it actually takes place in the present.
Anyways, it's a pretty good drama actually, and the actors are decently hot.
Ahh..now i wanna watch the drama again..ehh probably some other time.
Tired from my friend's bday party, so not gonna go in details about this drama.

Day 26: Name an overrated Drama?
An overrated drama..
Starring: Show Luo, Wu Zun, Jerry Yan, etc.
Lots of HOT guys doing hot actions, but ehh. I quit watching the drama after like 3 episodes. Some people say its really good...I think they're just watching it for the hot guys.
LOL, umm so yeah, i mean, its not that bad, not as bad as Secret Garden or whatever, but in my opinion its overrated.

Day 25: Drama with the worst ending in your opinion?
I think I've already mentioned this 1000000 times, guess I have to mention these again.
- Bottled Passion
Starring: Raymond Wong, Niki Chow, etc.
It was a bittersweet drama. These two were such a cute couple, but it just HAD to end tragically, with Raymond Wong dying in the end. His enemy took in some drugs cuz she wanted to suicide, but before she passed out b/c of the drugs, she went to find raymond wong and stabs him with a knife. The girl then faints on the ground. Raymond runs out, saw a person passing by and tells him to go save his enemy's life even though he's terribly hurt too. Then he eventually gets to a dock with a boat. He lies down in the boat, the boat floats away, and he's dying on that boat with that stupid knife wound.

Niki Chow (his gf) is left, not knowing that Raymond has died. And she keeps waiting for YEARS, hoping that he'd come back. The End.
I hated it.
If they had ended up together, it would've been the best ending ever. Cuz they went through tonsss of crap shit in this drama. Gawd, hate the ending sooo much. Sooo freaking sad.
I dont hate the ending, and this tragic ending is what makes me remember this drama so clear, but...yeah.
Ohh, and this drama doesnt take place today.
- Another drama with a bad ending is Days we stared at the sun.
Also a tragedy. It's a short drama, only 5 episodes. But every episode is very meaningful, every episode keeps you at the edge of your seat.
In the end, the main character sacrifices his life for justice. This drama is sooo sad, guess thats why it won awards.
Anyways, these 2 dramas are a MUST watch. especially the 2nd one; its short, and gets right to the point. Also, theres no drags, Bottled Passion might have some here and there, but Days We stared at the sun is just like...bam! 5 episodes.

Day 24: Drama with the best ending in your opinion?
There are many dramas with a good ending, and the ending's always the same anyways: this guy goes with this girl, everyone's okay at the end.
So, im just gonna talk about Forensic Heroes II, cuz its an awesome drama, and I've not mentioned it at all in this 30 day drama challenge.
Hmmm..its been a year since I watched this. Watched it last summer.
Drama Name: Forensic Heroes 2
Broadcast: 5/19/08-6/28/08
Episodes: 30
Starring: Bobby Au Yeung, Charmaine Sheh, Kevin Cheng, Frankie Lam, Linda Chung, YoYo Mung, etc.
Is it worth watching: YUPP. its not boring at all, cuz theres cases, and some case were actually pretty bloody, so yeah, not boring at all.
Plot: many different cases, and they use the evidence they find to solve it, blah blah.
This drama is linked with the first Forensic Heroes, but not Forensic Heroes III (so i didnt watch the 3rd one xD)
Anyways, I was actually pretty mad watching this drama. First, Linda Chung who was about to get married with Frankie Lam dies. OMGG sooo mad. And then Charmaine's first impression really pissed me off. Hated her so much in the beginning.

And Kevin Cheng(: Well, he's an angel.
Frankie and Kevin both falls for Charmaine after Linda(frankie's fiance) dies.
The drama ended with Kevin being a victim of a bombing incident, hes in a coma for a long time. And Bobby and YoYo gets married, then Charmaine gets a phone call from hospital saying Kevin woke up, so everyone (including the ones that got married) rushed to the hospital to see Kevin.
The last scene was that. Them rushing back. Kevin wasn't even in the last scene ://

I'm really glad they didn't make him die though. But Im toooo jealous of Charmaine in this drama. Being with Kevin and all that ://
So yeah, it's not the "best" ending, but it was a good drama. haha, this post does not meet the standards of the challenge theme. Ohh well.
Ohh, and Jason Chan (the guy from yesterday) was in this drama too. :D Small role though..

The drama I watched that made me start noticing him is called No Good Either Way, which is the drama I'm currently watching with my family. Just started noticing him like 5 days ago, even though I've already watched like 3 other dramas with him in it (not main role tho).
Anyways, hes so cute! not the sexy "Peter Ho" kind, but more like..more towards JJ Lin I guess. nahh, hes like a dorky cute type. Yup.. thats the adjective. Dorky. You might be confused, but dorky is like the perfect word for him. Hes such a cute dork!! ahh~~Except for the 1st pic, he looks hot in that one.
Since his acting career, they've only gave him small roles or like a supporting role, but recently (more like a month or so ago) they put him as main character for a new drama that they're still filming. Linda Chung is also in it. It's gonna be awesome! But gonna have to wait sooooo long.

I'm sure a lot more ppl are starting to notice him and I'm glad he's getting more fame. Well..I would've enjoyed him all by myself, but apparently that's not gonna happen.
He's not the type of person that you'll see and fall in love with him right away, he's the guy where you have to look at his dramas for a few days until you begin to see how hot he is. And his acting skills..i'm not sure, cuz like i said, he's only got supporting roles. But, so far, so good.

This is a hard one..I don't think I have a least favorite actor.Well, I can't think of one right now, so I'm just gonna have to go with JJ Lin.
I've already talked about him in another day of this challenge, but whatever. I really don't have a least favorite actor.
I'll make this one really short.
I LOVE JJ as much as a rat loves cheese, he's adorable, VERYYY talented at singing and songwriting, but acting just isn't his thing.
That's all I'm gonna say. Cuz I don't like today's challenge.

She's cute, and is very talented at singing. OMG i love her voice, but she CAN NOT act. She suckss at it.

Danggit, I was just trying to update the drama challenges page when i saw that I skipped day 14 -.-Anyways, umm currently im watching:
- Startling with each step
Starring: Kevin Cheng! and other ppl.
Plot: this girl travels back in time to the Qing dynasty, falls in love with 2 princes, blah blah...faces the challenge of the princes battling each other to be emperor, but she cares about all the princes, yeah. hard to explain.
There's other side dramas that I'm watching, but this is the main one I'm currently focusing on. So yeah.

Synopsis:
Set during the Tang Dynasty of China, Can't Buy Me Love tells the story of the Third Princess, Princess Chiu Yeung (Charmaine Sheh), of the Tang Emperor (Samuel Kwok), who is beautiful but very unreasonable, and, as such, no one wants to marry her. The Kam family is the largest gold manufacturer in the grand capital Chang'an, but because they are deceived, the business runs into troubles. The second son of the Kam family Kam Tuo Luk (Moses Chan) has to marry the Third Princess to save the family business, because then they will have the right to manufacture gold pieces for the Tang Palace, the Third Princess only agreeing to the marriage because otherwise she would be married off to the Tibetan king Songtsän Gampo, as schemed by the evil Concubine Wei (Kara Hui).
Will this couple find true love?The plot sounds okay, but it's actually pretty good. Especially since there's a lot of actors and actresses I like :)

Synopsis:
Xiao Zhuang always thought he was a good-looking fella because that was what his parents always told him. However, after starting university, he was in for a surprise when the girl he liked turned him down. His friends finally told him the truth, which was that he wasn't good-looking at all. But he has a nice heart. Can he use his inner beauty to get his dream girl to fall in love with him?
The plot sounds okay, but seriously, and no offense, but the people in this drama does not know how to act AT ALL. Their acting is very fake, and exaggerated, they can't play the role they're suppose to, and it's very hard for me to be convinced that they're that character. They lack something that separates them from good actors.
As much as I LOVE JJ Lin and all his music; truth is, he's not a good actor. I guess that's why this is the only drama he's been in.

I wanna watch King of Boxing/ Gloves Come off (拳王) quite badly. Came out a few days ago. Because of school, I barely have enough time to do this 30 day drama challenge, so watching a whole series of drama? Nope. Guess I have to wait until summer? Urghh.

Synopsis:
Tong Sap Yat (Kevin Cheng) is an amazing Muy Thai boxer. He trains with his senior Ko Wai Ting (Kenny Wong) far out in Thailand. Money lures the pair to enter boxing in Thailand’s black market. As a result of his decision for money, he made a mistake that would haunt him for life. So he decides to turn over a new leaf and return to Hong Kong eager to leave his past behind. He finds himself a job in the security department of a good sports company. His outspoken and out going personality has caused him to become the centre of attraction in his superior’s, Chai Pak Fai (Selena Li), romantic life. All along he has been hoping to lead a simple life out of the boxing ring however that all changes when he encounters an assistant manager, Pat Ka Sing (Raymond Wong) working in the same company as him. At first the two have a misunderstanding between them but that cleared up and soon enough they were turned from foes to friends. Ka Sing has a strong passionate love towards Muy Thai boxing and that was enough to revive Sap Yat’s passion for the sport...
Yeah..the synopsis doesn't sound too interesting. That's why I didn't even try to highlight or make certain words a different color to get your attention. The synopsis I copied was definitely boring.
Butttt Raymond Wong's a great actor, and Kevin Cheng is TVB King of 2011, so it HAS to be a great drama. I've always thought about them together in a drama, never thought it'd actually come true. :D Really wanna watch it!

I just finished watching Hong Kong drama Daddy Good Deeds/Lucky Father.
Here's a little truth is: I didn't actually watch the whole thing. I watched a few episodes in the beginning and then the last few episodes. ^_^ But that's okay, cuz I know the whole story.

Synopsis:
Ko Yi-man (Ha Yu) is the owner of a pawn shop and a devoted father to his son Ko Wai-ting (Mak Cheung-ching) and two daughters Ko Yu-chu (Linda Chung) and Ko Yu-po (Cilla Kung). However unknown to his children one of them is not his biologically but an abandoned child, the symbolic "collateral" in a good luck ritual made many years previously. When the receipt for the tansaction comes to light first speculation about the truth and then the truth itself threatens the destruction of a family that he has given everything for and Gao Yi-wen must fight to keep his family together.
Pretty decent drama. But, it definitely won't be my "top 10" dramas.
