Looking Back at 10th grade
This has been quite an eventful year. A LOTT of stuff happened, and unfortunately, more sad/bad stuff has happened than good stuff from what I recall.
Well, here's a quick summary:
Classes:
Class that I learned the most: Algebra 2, AP World
Class where I can re=energize: Racquet Sports
Funniest class: Web. Publishing
Most dreaded class: English
Most boring class: AP Chinese
Easiest class: Chem
Teachers:
Most humorous: Hamada (Web Pub)
Easy Grader: Nehring (Chem)
Harsh Graders: V. (health), Adams (English), Nonis (Theatre)
Most understanding: Heffernan/Landau (AP World)
Most unpredictable: Adams (English)
Too overrated: V. (Health)
Got some bad teachers this year, harsh graders and whatnot. And hard classes too. I find myself actually struggling and hanging on to my A's with my fingertips.
I'm actually very proud of myself to be able to finish the year with a
4.0. That was my goal. To end this year with 4.0. And then Junior, Senior year, I'm okay with a little B's.
Let's see, what else this year.
Badminton, brother graduating, some death&sickness, fanfic.
It's been a really difficult year, both academically and personally. Sighhh, all these mental struggles. I'll save that for another post though.
Most
surprising moment would be when M.T. came to visit us. And all of us were surprised cuz she didn't tell anyone beforehand. That was a nice surprise though!
Freak out moment would be when I thought I lost my phone. Luckily, found it back the next day. I really was freaking out! Well and I freaked out about grades and tests all year too though.
Most
valuable lesson of this year is really to cherish everyone and everything around me. As I'm getting older, more and more people are leaving me. Brother going to college, family members leaving...
Never have I learned to
cherish people & things as much as this year. It's actually been really tough, and I'm in the midst of 1 of these...difficult times too.
I'll save that for next post.
Anyways, well, next year I'm doing running start at BC part time. Hopefully that goes well. Well, have a WONDERFULL summer everyone!! And cherish EVERYONE and EVERYTHING around you!
