Yesterday&Today
I said in my last post that I'd make a post about Wild Waves, but im too lazy now, and now that it's been quite a few days, im too lazy and lack that impulse to create such a post....soo...yeah..
okay yesterday was back to school day. didnt really like my ASB pic. one, because the lighting SUCKED for everyone' photo so we all look veryyyy tan. but seriously, u guys arent even photographers if you can't even adjust proper lighting, dummyyy. they are so stupid. can you guys pleasee be more pro.
but okay, my face looked fat. i didnt really like it. whatever....
today i finally finished the summer reading packet. whewwww....
The second she asked it, I had a clear answer in my head. I didn't need to think about it. I knew within ONE SECOND that i wanted to be an _ _ _ _ _ _ _. but i can't bring myself to say it. i just can't. I don't have the courage. And there are only 2 people in the whole world that knows who i wanna be. my best friends. not one family member knows it...not anyone else. Just them two.
The two that supports me and the two that I trust and the two that I can tell anything too.
Sighhh....when will I be able to say I WANNA BE____.
And when will people be asking, "ohh so what do you do? whats ur job?"
and I can proudly say "I'm an _____".

Small Rant
On Sat. the 17th, went to the Outlet in Northbend with family friends (yes, always the same ones sighhh). first we went to pick blueberries. bumped into R.H. there. total coincidence. a nice suprirse!then at the outlet, got a cute shirt from VF and sneakers from Nike(: then we went to Arby's for some curly fries, onion rings, and a drink. Parents talked there for like a hour about religious stuff.
I just can't take it though. I disagree so much on a lot of topics they were talking about. Like the whole world being vegetarian. And it's not just b/c i love meat. it's b/c if everyone in the world were to be vegetarians, what would fisherman and people that raise and kill those animals do?
They'd go out of business. And I said that. And the family friend, the mom was like "they can get another job" and im just like howwwww, it's not THAT easy to get a job you know. Even now, it's pretty hard to get a job. and you wanna increase the number of unemployed people by what? 900,000?
if everyone were to be vegetarians, so many other questions and problems will be raised and yeah. it's just not possible. and they were trying to convert me to eat less meat, be vegetarian, whatever. like NO MA'AM. NEVER GONNA HAPPEN, NOT IN MY LIFE. i'm respectful and happy towards people who don't eat meat, that's good for you. but that doesn't mean you need to disagree with what i say. goshhh. okay that was only like a little bit of the convo.
okay, umm. went to Wild Waves with friends yesterday. i will talk about that tomorrow. cuz im too lazy now.

Drama Review: Karma Rider
i feel like i talk about so much tvb stuff that it's no longer really all about my life. but, you know what? i guess dramas are part of my life so...yeah.. but okay, its cuz im on summer vacation okay? after summer, i should have less time to watch dramas and less time to do reviews etc. but okay, here we go.Finished this drama yesterday, the 14th.

Feelings&Thoughts: This drama started out really good for me. But it slowly became a drag. Throughout the whole drama, there was only 1 case. And i just felt that some episodes & parts were unnecessary. Beginning and ending were good, middle was just ehhh...But okay, it was a pretty good drama.
Part that left most deepest impression in me is during the time where Yat Ci Sum (played by Owen Cheung) dies, and Foon Siu(Cilla Kung) is all sad and cries and then suicides. That part was so sad. I can't even believe the scriptwriters made him die. like wtffff why would you. omfg. good thing Foon Siu and him are buried together tho<3 together forever.
But okay, I haven't cried this much because of a drama since like...2005 or 2006. And that drama was "One Litre of Tears". But this drama...omgggg....wowww....cried so much on Cilla & Owen's scenes. wowwww....
also the part where Lang Lui's real sons&daughters reunited was sad too. Everyone of his child became good at the end except for the oldest son. I feel so bad for the younger son though, he was being used by his older bro. But anyways, i like how they reunited(:
Okay, so at first when i read the synopsis before the drama came out, i didn't really have much feelings for it. i was just like ok whatever, i'll just watch it. but woww, the beg. episodes caught me. and im really really glad i watched this or i would've been missing out.
I feel like since Triumph in the Skies II is airing at the same time, it's taking all the attention and Karma Rider isn't getting as much attention as it should get. Bad time slot for this drama. I mean, it really isn't bad. Gotta admit, middle episodes were not that great, but overall, its a pretty awesome drama. This drama is just too underrated.
Okay, back to the drama itself. I'm satisfied with the ending. Glad they showed us what happens in modern HK where they meet again. But I feel like they should've showed us more characters in modern times. Like Foon Siu &Yat Chi Sum and the Chong Yau Sei Zi Faa too.

Acting wise...Raymond Wong was good of course, (in my opinion). and Cilla was reallyyy good too. I feel like every actor did a pretty amazing job in the drama. Except for...Priscilla. Sorry. I just felt ehh.... about her acting. Not saying I don't like her or anything.
And now, for the songs. OMFGGG THEY WERE SOO AWESOME. Love these songs. I loveee Hubert's voice. And for the cover of Denise Ho's 化蝶, i felt that Hubert did a better job than Denise. Just my personal opinion...anddd then, Foon Siu & Yat Chi Sum's song was really good too. Made me cry so much when that song played when Foon Siu was suiciding. Fiona Fung deserves more attention. Really. I mean it.
Now, looking at the drama from a deeper angle/side. It contains a lot of meaningful quotes and life lessons. A lot of them were said by Fei Yeh. Here's a few that im not gonna bother translating:

Overall, very good.

Sighhh&YAYYY
Went to Bellevue Downtown Park for movie again last night. The movie was called Chasing Mavericks. It was pretty good and i might do a review for it later....Finally finished watching Karma Rider today. I'll do a review for that later too cuz i have soo many things to say about it.

Tearsss
Today I was catching up on my drama, Karma Rider(師父.明白了) and i was crying like crazyyyyy at episode 14. omgg it was just soo freaking sad. i was crying for like 5-10 minutes straight. ughh so sad. good thing i watched it by myself.
hasdlfjdlfj i hate this sad plot...
Not only that, i know there will be more sad stuff coming in episode 16 and the ending isn't happy ending either. Spoilers...ughh im gonna cry soon...later. when i watch the rest of the episodes.
I'm gonna make a superrrrrrrrr longgggggg review for this drama when im done and complain about everything.
as i was getting pics/gifs on tumblr i was reading other ppl's thoughts too and they all had the same feelings as me-- "WTTFFFF." "OMGG IM CRYING MY EYES OUT" "WHAT IS THIS" "NOOO" yupp, those feelings. okay, not the only one.
then i was also catching up on Triumph in the Skies II (衝上雲霄2) afterwards and that was sad too. didn't cry but it was sad. I was at the part where Coco decides to choose friend over her fiancee, Nick. sighhh...i feel so bad for nick. Well, at least they had a peaceful break up and can stay as friends.

THENN, i watched Voice of Stars (星夢傳奇), a singing variety show, and that was sad too. Didn't cry. but omg all these stars i like and having to see them compete against each other. i just can't watch. >.< I don't want ANYONE of them to get eliminated from the show, i just can't bare to see that. -.- sighhhh, whyyyy whyy whyyy.

Performance Review: Taipei Youth Folk Sports Group 2013
Tennis in the morning with friends and some of friend's friends. Pretty interesting i guess.got home and watched Triumph in the Skies while eating lunch :D
at about 6, family friend picked me up to go to this yearly Taipei Youth Folk Sports Group performance. also picked up her daughter and my mom along the way. we were a little late, but the show didn't start yet when we went in. It was at Kirkland Performance Center.
These kids, ages 11-14 were selected in March this year from different elem, and middle school in taiwan. 5 months of practice, and they are truly AMAZING. well, they all already know how to do the stuff(like shuttlecock, chinese yo-yo), but still, having to memorize the choreography, etc. it was amazingly awesome.
They reached Seattle (from taiwan) last night and today was their first stop and first performance this year, they'll be travelling to other cities.
Performance:
There were a total of 6 parts to this show.
- Harvest Dance: cool taiwanese tribal dance (Amis tribe). with nice beat and rhythm to start out the show. nothing too "wow" here. but it was nice.
- Shuttlecock Kicking: These children were sooo good at shuttlecocks. like not even kidding.

hey pass it back&forth, use their face to bounce it, balance it on their feet and manage to twist their feet in this way (i cant describe it). and all these cool stuff. really cool. - Magic Wonderland: This was...basically just a routine dance i guess. I really like the theme and their outfits though. They also had umbrellas and they would roll around this ball on the umbrellas.
- Diabolo Spinning: This was the chinese yo-yo performance. My fav. in all the parts. It was truly "WOWW WOW WOW". My heart was beating fast as i watch them to their tricks. Scared that they'll mess up. It was as if I'm doing the trick. Every time they do a trick, i get freaked out for them. not even kidding. i was soo scared they'd mess up or whatever. this part was FULL of exciting new tricks that keeps grabbing your attention.

There's rarely a time where you can relax and breathe normally cuz it was really just sooooo intense!! These kids are pro at this. They could go on Americas's Got Talent and get a standing ovation. It was just woww. some tricks are the ones everyone's seen before, but some were totally new and exciting to see. JUST WOW WOW WOW WOW. im so jealous of them xD - Farmers's Delight: So after such an intense performance the pace slow downed a bit and allowed me to breathe again. This was a relaxing part but perfect for after the chinese yo-yos cuz i could finally sit back again instead of being on the edge of my seat. Anyways, this was a cute performance and contained old childhood songs that brings back memories&feelings(: Basically had the kids dance around with costumes as if they were peasants in the more olden days. Portrayed kids playing, and women and men's everyday farming life.
- Rope Skipping: This part was pretty intense too, not as intense as part 4 but still. This was jump roping at another new level. Contained several classic tricks like double dutch and swinging the rope twice while you jump. But they had to do these manyy manyyy manyy times. of course, there were also other high level stunts like 4 ropes swinging together.. the ropes were arranged really confusing and complicated. i couldn't even catch on.
and throughout the whole performance i was just thinking" howwwwwww did they do that. how are they jumping. how are the ropes not tangled together" and not only that, they were also jump roping inside jumping roping. there were also jump roping inside jump roping inside jump roping. 1 inside another inside another. i know it sounds really confusing and thats cuz it was just hella cool. and they were like switching sides and switching people for swinging the ropes all the same time jumping the bigger, most outside rope. super confusing to explain, you just gotta be there yourself. but HELLAAAAAA TIGHTT.

Although all the parts were wonderful, mistakes were inevitable. Most mistakes made were in part 4 and 6. chinese yo-yo and jump rope. the other dancing parts, even if they messed up, i couldn't tell. but anyways, i like how when the kids messed up they can just keep going or walk off stage proudly and get another chinese yo-yo and join back in perfectly.
like they know exactly what to do if they mess up and all that. it was good.
Overall, they were reallyyyy awesome and it's definitely something you HAVE to watch if you get the chance. You can't miss this show. it's absolutely wonderful.

Movie at the park!
Yesterday, got picked up by family friend to go watch the movie, Parental Guidance at Bellevue Downtown Park.I loved the atmosphere of watching a movie outdoors under the stars and just behind you are buildings and lights. Cuz well personally i love the city, so that explains the buildings.
and its not loud, cuz ppl respect each other and its all nice and stuff. (:
Anyways, movie ended at 10:40? yeahh.
I'm not gonna make a review for it cuz i feel like i've been watching so much movies recently and making reviews. This is not a blog for review, its for my personal life. so okay.
but it was a pretty nice movie though, i enjoyed it.

Outside
Been outside yesterday and today.Yesterday was quite fun with S.L. at bell sq. shopped and ate lunch at boom noodles! A place we both haven't tried before but turned out pretty good.
also went to the mac store in the afternoon and after playing in the photo booth, i saw C.T. and her bro a few tables behind us on ipad minis.
got dessert and then went to sanrio for like a hour to play "guess the price" game. A game we made up on the stop. we were in there for like at least 30min. maybe even a hour. it was soo fun though. S.L. is superrr good at guessing prices! but omgg prices at sanrio is so unreasonable and like wtf.
some were priced so high (most of them) and some were so cheap it was like "HOWWW". it was just weird.
and S.L. and I were going like "ohh this is cheap..for this store" haha, okay, it was funny.
got home at 5ish, 6? idkk
ohh and i bought this american eagle top for 8ish bucks, its nice, i really like it.
also i got a haircut.
okay so then today.
went to crossroads mall with bro for lunch cuz we have free bus tickets and needed to use them by sept. today's adventure was full of walking tho -.- wrong bus, wrong stop. sighhh...managed to get there tho.
and thats about it.

Lil Chats& Movie Review: While You Were Sleeping
Today was a pretty good day. The sun finally decided to come out a little today.Bell Sq. tomorrow! Haven't been shopping for some time i think....
anyways. so as i've mentioned 2 days ago, I was chatting with my cousin on skype right? so she introduced me to these two people she met at camp, one was a girl, from Canada, and the other, a guy, from Hong Kong. So then we became friends on fb through my cousin.

Movie Review: Monsters University
Before I go on to the review, I'd like to say a few things.-It's cold today -.-
-I was looking at universities I'd possibly want to attend in the future and their majors. *sigh* what do I wanna major in? I have 2 things in mind, but...i dont even no. Can I go back to elementary school?
Okay. Anyways. So started watching Monsters University yesterday and finished it up today. This will be a short review.
Title: Monsters University
Running Time: 103 minutes
Voice Actors: Billy Crystal, John Goodman, etc.
Rate: 7/10
Summary: Mike & Sulley in university trying to become "Scarers"...
Umm I think Monsters Inc. was better. But this one wasn't bad either. The plot was pretty predictable. But it's a great movie to just sit back, relax, and watch. Not one of those omgg im sitting on the edge of my seat. OMG I'm gonna cry, OMG noo he can't die.

Long Distance
Yesterday I logged on to Skype and instantly got a message from aunt asking to speak with my mom. so I got my mom and we called (skype) my aunt. But then, realized that aunt is at work so she cant pick up. Unexpectedly, my cousin, who's at home right now picked up. She must've been on the computer and my aunt must've been logged onto the account. Anyways, so my cousin picked up.After my mom and aunt chatted a bit on skype, I continued to talk with cousin on Skype for like a hour. It was a total surprise call. But haven't talked to her in like a whole year so it was a pretty good convo i guess.
Today...
Started watching the movie, "Monsters University" with bro but then he had to go to work, so we'll continue that tomorrow. such a cute movie >.<
umm what else...ohh omgg Julian Cheung is such a flirty hottie in Triumph in the Skies II, loveee it. Goshhh so hott, i just can'ttt even ajsldjfdlf. and his dimples <3
