Finals are FINALYYY overr. saturday was quite busy for me. i was out the whole day. first volunteer, then went to this other thingy thats related to my chinese school. its really hard to explain. it was this like chinese new year celebration thingy, extra early.

so before it officially started and guests start to go in, EC and I were just there hanging with 2 other little girls since we weren't really "guests". so we decided to play hide and seek. and the little girls were hiding in this room, we went in. inside sat this kinda cute guy, and we asked if he saw 2 girls went in there. his expression was so friendly! and he was a bad liar. sooo adorable! and then we just kept going back in and hiding in the room <333 that guy ahh so adorb.


so behind me sat this old canto lady. and apparently she thought i spoke canto so she kept talking to me in canto and im like....uhhmmm. i understood about 60%.

she said stuff like if i was born here, and im like "toi wan" and then she asked if i've seen these rice thingies in taiwan, and im like "gin guo." and then she asked how old was i when i moved here and i said "cat sui"  and then she asked how old was i no and i said "sap sei". but then i realized im already 15. whatever. and then she complimented me saying i was tall for my age. uhh NOO, im short. but "mm goi sai" (:

she also asked me if the little bags were tea bags, and i pointed to the tea bag and said "li go hai" then i pointed to the ones that weren't said "li go mm hai" and she said what were they then? and i said "ngoh mm zi" and yeahh. something liek that.

also when we were eating, she kept offering me some since there weren't enough and i kept saying "mm sai la, mm sai la" but she gave some to me anyway. soo nice!



so proud of myself(: communicating to a real canto person. i still have ALOTTT to improve on though. Shout outs go to TVB dramas and TVB actors and actresses for teaching me :D

The old lady probably thought i had an accent, but heyy, she understood me. hahhahahah :) im happy.

after that, went to Ikea with family friend, E.C. on the car ride there, witnessed some drunk driving(that's our theory) like ahead of us on the highway. that crazy driver swerving back and forth. i didnt really witness it since i decided to close my eyes and rest a bit and so did EC. the ones that saw was EC's mom and my bro. then the driver like bumped into this other's car. and then EC's mom said something and i immidiealty opened my eyes, so did EC. then my bro called 911. 

it's my first time going to Ikea, and i reallyyy love the showrooms, they look sooo wonderfull <33 I have officially found my dream kitchen <3 then we had midnight snack of hot dogs, ice cream, soda, and lay's chips at ikea i feel fatt, but it was delicious!



on the way back, on the highway, we saw quite a few police cars like more 3 or more. and then my bro and EC's mom also recognized the drunk driver's car. we were at Ikea for more than a hour. which meant the incident of police car has been there for quite some time.


new semester. 2 new classes. not that worried about history since i know quite a lot of ppl thats gonna be in my class. more homework and tests though ://

leadership is another story. omggg im gonna die. idk who the heck is gonna be in the class with me. im sooo scared. and i bet its a class where they make ppl talk a lot. ughhh im sooo scared. freaking out right now. freaking outttt.

wish me luck pleaseee on tuesday.
