Movies
After chinese school, went to E.C's house to drop her off at her house. also stayed for lunch. lunch was soooooo freaking good. we had porridge. and it was like real legit asian porridge with ingredients already in there. also had 燒餅油條. OMG <33333 soooo good. and 包子, and mangoes. ahhh <3333
and then we just hanged and talked.
got home and watched a movie called
Premium Rush(2012)
which my bro had picked out. pretty good. and then watched
Life of Pi(2012) which I picked out while my dad was scrolling thru movies. And then dad picked out a Canto movie called
Mr. 3 Minutes/3分鐘先生
(2006)
All three movies were pretty darnnn good.
Let's go in the order that I watched.
Premium Rush (2012)was good. I'd recommend you watch it if you have time, but it's not one of those OMG YOU HAVEEEEE TO WATCH IT OR ELSE. But, if your a cyclist then this should interest you.
Life of Pi (2012)got nominated for several categories for the Oscar Awards, including:
- Best Picture
- Cinematography
- Directing (Ang Lee/李安 #taiwanesepride)
- Film Editing
- Music-original score
- Production Design
- Sound Editing
- Sound Mixing
- Visual Effects
- Writing-adapted screenplay
Thatsss a lot of categories and in my opinion, Life of Pi def. deserves some good awards. They better take home at least a couple.
Mr. 3 Minutes (2006) was a touching one. Its promotional posters all look happy and look like it's suppose to be a comedy. It IS funny, but there's a plot twist. (spoilers included below). After watching 2 action, eventful movies, it was a great movie to end my evening. Not much action, plot was okay. But I needed a break from action movies so it fitted well for me. It's a touching story and there is a moral.

The main guy character isnt cute like at all, but heyy, hes a good actor. |
I actually really enjoyed it. But I feel like towards the end everything just happened too quick, and the beginning was a little draggy. The ending wasn't that complete either. The main character needed a surgery where the success rate was only 1%. but the movie ended with him going to the surgery room and then the end. Soo, it really doesn't tell us if he dies, but 1%....seriously...he probably died. But heyy, u never no, he just might be lucky.
It's really up to the viewer what happens to him. However, we all know that he [probably] died.
Moved me to tears, just a bit though. Not like pouring down tears.
7 more days until my bday!!
