Day 13: The last Asian Drama you’ve seen?
Day 13: The last Asian Drama you’ve seen?
Oohh this is an easy one!
I just finished watching
Hong Kong drama Daddy Good Deeds/Lucky Father.
Here's a little truth is: I didn't actually watch the whole thing. I watched a few episodes in the beginning and then the last few episodes. ^_^ But that's okay, cuz I know the whole story.
Title: Daddy Good Deeds (當旺爸爸)
Starring: Linda Chung, Steven Ma, Evergreen Mak, Nancy Wu, Edwin Siu, etc
Broadcast: 3/19/12-4/13/12
Genre: Family, Comedy
Synopsis:
Ko Yi-man (Ha Yu) is the owner of a pawn shop and a devoted father to his son Ko Wai-ting (Mak Cheung-ching) and two daughters Ko Yu-chu (Linda Chung) and Ko Yu-po (Cilla Kung). However unknown to his children one of them is not his biologically but an abandoned child, the symbolic "collateral" in a good luck ritual made many years previously. When the receipt for the tansaction comes to light first speculation about the truth and then the truth itself threatens the destruction of a family that he has given everything for and Gao Yi-wen must fight to keep his family together.
Pretty decent drama. But, it definitely won't be my
"top 10" dramas.
